Reasonable Thinspo Tips
1. Weight loss takes time. Even 1lb of loss per week, if kept off, is impressive. Racing to lose weight at an unreasonable speed is bad for your motivation and makes you more likely to give up or gain the weight back. A fast but still realistic goal is at most 2.5lbs per week.
2. Stop making promises you can’t keep. Saying things like “I’ll never eat again”, “I’ll never eat junk food”, “I’ll always exercise daily for 2 hours” just sets you up for defeat. Set small, achievable goals, like “I won’t eat junk food this week” or “on Mondays and Fridays I’ll work out for 2 hours”. Do what you are capable of.
3. When you’re actually hungry, eat something small - a piece of toast, a half cup of cereal, a sliced fruit or veggie. This keeps your blood sugar level and prevents cravings as well as stops you from over eating when you have your next meal. Real, dedicated weight loss includes food.
4. Every thinspo tip about water is true. Drink at least 2 litres a day. Flavour with lemon or peppermint tea bags. If you aren’t hydrated, you can’t digest your food or push out toxins, which means bloating, which means slower loss and an uglier fatter body. Drink. Water.
5. Try not to cut calories too hard too quickly. If you’re used to eating 2000cal a day, cutting down to 500cal means you’ll plateau at 500cal way quicker at a higher weight. Cut to 1200, then 1000, then 950, so on and so forth. There’s no use in eating 5 almonds a day if in the end it’s just going to stop you from reaching your goals in a sustainable way.
a few things to remember
-nothing tastes as good as skinny feels
-skip the dinner, wake up thinner
-i want to be so thin that people whisper about how skinny ive gotten behind my back
-the calories last longer than the cravings
-i am not a slave to my body and i do not have to cater to all of its whining
-if if hurts then its working
-the voice that says you can’t do this and to give up is a lying slut
-youll never get skinny if you keep on eating
-a craving is only a feeling
-you will never regret reaching your goal. you will only regret giving up and not trying harder.
-do not reward yourself with food. you are not a dog
-hunger hurts but starvation works
“have you lost weight?”
“you’re so skinny, do you even eat?”
“how did you lose so much weight?”
“if you lose anymore weight, you’ll disappear.”
“what do you weigh, like 10 pounds?”
“your face is soo thin i can see your jawbone.”
“i wish i was as skinny as you.”
you’re just s o s k i n n y.
Christmas Thinspo ❄️🎄
imagine this;
You wake up on christmas day wearing an adorable pair of festive pyjamas that are practically hanging off your tiny frame. You walk down the stairs that don’t even creak under your body because of how light you are. Your dainty fingers unwrap the fine ribbon tied around gift boxes that fall through your thigh gap as you sit cross-legged on the floor. You’re grateful for the gifts, but the thing you’re most grateful for is that you’ve reached your goal weight. You go upstairs to shower and get ready for the day, you don’t feel ashamed as you lather up your body in the shower - no more fat jiggling. You wear a festive jumper that is an extra small but fits you like an oversized t-shirt and a pair of leggings that show off your pretty thigh gap. You look stunning. All of your family compliment your weight loss and tell you how proud they are and you blush. When everyone is eating calorie-filled food, you are sat with a glass of water and a salad. You smile and feel amazing, you have so much self control and are the thinnest member of your family.

tips on fasting 💫
1. distract yourself. learn an instrument, draw a picture, learn the lyrics to a song you like. do anything but eat. (i’ll post ways to distract yourself later.)
2. drink plenty of water. if you’re hungry, chug down a glassful of water.
3. write down the reasons you want to be skinny. look at pictures of models or people you’d define as “body goals”.
4. listen to songs that make you feel depressed. i suggest “teen idle” by marina and the diamonds. i listen to it when i’m hungry or want to break my diet - it works every time!
5. look up meanspo + thinspo.
6. exercise. you can even space it out through the day - do 10 jumping jacks every hour so then you’ll do 100 by the end of the day.
7. learn to love pain. i do 100-200 squats every night, and even if it hurts i still keep on going. you’ll eventually get addicted to the good feeling you get after you work out.
8. don’t fast for more than a few days. eat a few veggies or fruit in between.
9. brush your teeth if you’re hungry, or have some gum. don’t always have gum, as it will make your stomach think you are eating and just expand the hunger.
10. try eating ice.
11. always have an excuse ready if someone asks why you aren’t eating. (i posted some here: https://promisesandheartbreak.tumblr.com/post/154154639937/ana-excuses )
12. if it really comes down to it, eat with your family or friends to avoid suspicion. purge after, if you want or eat as little as possible during the meal.
13. if you don’t want to purge or exercise, have a cold bath. it’s actually pretty relaxing once you get used to it.
14. drink green tea to boost your metabolism - it also has no calories.
15. if you’re new to ana, start by restricting the amount of calories bit by bit to avoid your body reacting really badly to the sudden change.
